Search Underway for Missing San Leandro Man, Nhigel Norwood, Age 21
The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for 21-year-old Nhigel Norwood, who was reported missing after last being seen on 163rd Avenue in San Leandro on Sunday morning.
According to a press release issued by the department on Friday, Norwood stands at six feet four inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He is described as a Black man with short black hair, a dark complexion, and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a grey T-shirt and blue shorts.
Norwood reportedly left his home on 163rd Avenue unexpectedly around 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Authorities are urging anyone with information that could assist in locating Norwood to contact the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office at (510) 667-7721 or reach out to their local law enforcement agency.
