San Jose Police Investigate Fatal Traffic Collision on Sunday Afternoon
Police in San Jose are investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred over the weekend, the department announced Sunday afternoon.
The incident took place at the intersection of Santa Teresa Boulevard and Bayliss Drive, involving two vehicles, which resulted in the death of a man.
The second vehicle was occupied by three individuals—a man, a woman, and a juvenile—who were all transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
As of 4:30 p.m., both southbound and northbound lanes of Santa Teresa Boulevard from Cheltenham Place to Bailey Avenue will be closed for an extended period.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes if possible.
