Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision in San Jose: Man Dies, Roads Closed
One person has died following a two-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon in San Jose, according to an announcement from the San Jose Police Department on X.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Santa Teresa Boulevard and Bayliss Drive, where a solo male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other vehicle involved was driven by an adult male, accompanied by a woman and a male minor. All three occupants were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
As a result of the collision, both southbound and northbound lanes of Santa Teresa Boulevard from Cheltenham Place to Bailey Avenue will remain closed for an extended period while police conduct their investigation.
The public is advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes. The SJPD received a report of the crash at 3:10 p.m. No additional information is available at this time.
