The following information was sent to us via an anonymous, but a credible source from Allegheny County.
Donald J. Carpenter, 40 of the 3200-block of Wainbell Ave. in Pittsburgh, PA, is currently under investigation according to various police sources.
Carpenter, who portrayed to be a “bonafide journalist” from the Pittsburgh-region and Los-Angeles, California areas, has reportedly been reported to local law enforcement agencies after he reportedly made numerous attempts to contact an underage girl.
WPMG received a news tip from an anonymous source who stated this comes weeks after Carpenter alleged he was being stalked and threatened.
Carpenter, who claims to be a “god damn national treasure” on Twitter, could not be reached for comment on the recent allegations made against him.
As WPMG looked into his blog, it was noted that Carpenter has posted dozens of lies through the latest articles he had published.
Last week, Carpenter contacted WPMG and portrayed to be a “very large journalist” and was seeking comment on our UPMC story. He portrayed himself as a law enforcement officer and made several threats of “arrest and jail time” for our Freedom of Press and Freedom of Speech.
It was shocking to learn that Donald J. Carpenter has reportedly been having inappropriate conversations with underage teen girls lately.
Carpenter has been known in the local news industry as the sort of person to make up lies, just to make a compelling story.
As of lately, he has made an online post begging for donations during this pandemic.
This is a developing story, stay with WPMG for the latest information.
