Several inches of rain fell across the region today, which caused several locations to become extremely flooded.
Emergency responders were reportedly dispatched to the Route 85 animal shelter location to assist in transferring the shelter animals to the Crooked Creek Horse location.
Several roadways became flooded with ponding water as well, in addition to a handful of 911 calls for flooded basements.
It is unclear if any animals were injured during the floods.
The shelter is seeking jugs of water and Purina One dog food donations.
Donations can be dropped off at the Crooked Creek Horse Park.
