HUNTINGDON, Pa. (WPMG) – A local high school teacher in Pennsylvania has been accused of groping one of his 14-year-old students in class. The teacher was arrested the following day after receiving a written report.
Police say Raymond Smith, 30 of Tyrone, is a teacher at the Mount Union High School.
The incident reportedly occurred on Feb. 10 at the high school.
The victim wrote a note to the Mount Union Police Department and the following day, charges were filed against Smith.
Smith was charged with criminal indecent assault and criminal harassment.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 15th.
