HONOLULU, Hi. – “Your medical marijuana use disqualifies you from ownership of firearms and ammunition.”
To Constitutionalists, this statement is a nightmare. However, that is the reality faced by hundreds of thousands of citizens in Honolulu following the passage of a new law.
This unconstitutional display of barbaric disregard for American Sovereignty is currently in full effect on the island of Honolulu.
An image of the circulated letter is below.
HRS 134-7(a) is a law included in what is called the Hawaii Revised Statuses; a set of reforms to Hawaiian law. It prohibits Hawaiian citizens from owning, possessing or purchasing a firearm or ammunition due to their use of legalized Medical Marijuana. Any legal owner of firearms has 30 days to surrender the firearm or to face penalty.
How is this possible? How do they know who to send the letters to?
Hawaii has long practiced the registration of firearms. Firearm registration is of course the act of registering what firearms you own and what your verified status is at the time of ownership. This status includes information about you, about the weapon, where it is stored and where it was purchased. When compiled. a record is made and held by the state.
Why Is This Unconstitutional?
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.Second Amendment United States Constitution
Simply, read the above. “The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
The Constitution is the ultimate law of our land; the law above all laws. It is the guideline by which the government must align itself and be held to standard. In that, the Government when creating any other law that disregards the constitution, shall create a law that is null, void and not to be followed or acknowledged.
Therefore, the law is unconstitutional because it violates the Second Amendment and it is not to be followed, it is to be nullified and the body of law that activated it is to be made aware that it will not stand any longer if it continues to write unconstitutional law; and that the writing of unconstitutional law will not be tolerated to any capacity.
Not the Government, but the Citizen who elects members to Government must have no fear in regulating the Government from infringing on their rights. Apparently, Hawaii does not believe in this principal, as they have allowed the Government to overstep it’s boundaries by creating this law.
