PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WPMG) – The deadly Wuhan-strain of the Coronavirus is planned to be given to the University of Pittsburgh for testing purposes, according to the Centers for Disease Control.
The CDC hopes that a vaccine can be made from the staff at the University of Pittsburgh.
The University of Pittsburgh is one of the few elite institutions to receive deadly samples. The college has a certified lab strong enough to keep the pathogens inside.
Residents fear that researchers and medical students may become exposed to the virus increase of a PPE breach.
