PENNSYLVANIA (WPMG) – A winter storm is brewing across the Great Lakes right now. The destination? Pennsylvania.
AccuWeather is reporting that the northern-half of Pennsylvania will see a large amount of snowfall very quickly, then transition into a continuous disturbance of rain.
This could cause widespread flooding.
The storm will enter as rain in the south, slowly transition to light snow as it tracks north, then when the storm hits I-80, it will transition into a thick blanket of snow.
1 to 3-inches of snow is expected to cover most of northern Pennsylvania.
Areas that will not see snow will receive over one-half-inch of heavy rain.
