HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Film crews have concluded filming in Hopewell Township last week for the upcoming documentary-drama movie, ’93’.
The production company behind the film, CineFX Studios, had released a press release indicating film crews would be filming at the site of US Airways Flight 427 crash site on Pettita Lane with the family members of those who perished on September 8th, 1994.
It is unclear exactly why the crews were filming in Beaver County.
’93’ is being produced by CineFX Studios, which reportedly will pertain to a 20-year anniversary about United Airlines Flight 93, which was hijacked and crashed in a reclaimed strip mine in Shanksville, Pa.
Various locations have reportedly been scouted for ’93’, according to KNNP-TV viewers. Several fields have had crews already taking measurements for a supposed scene within the movie.
The Daily American had reported on the film already being filmed in Somerset County several months ago.
